As a daily BART rider, I have noticed how frustrating the BART kiosk is for both new riders and common commuters.

After spending time in the field watching BART riders with the current kiosk, I created a prototype redesign including:

  • A touch screen interface.
  • Shortcuts for commuter riders.
  • A built-in trip planner that can create multiple trip tickets at once.
